Why do people automatically assume when I say that I am in college that I drink and party all the time? It is very annoying and condescending because believe it or not, I don’t party. If I ever do in fact party, it’s very rare. I understand that majority of so-called mainstream college kids might party but I do not. I have to pay for my college out of my own pocket and student loans so there is no way in hell I am going to let partying get in the way of that. I never assumed people were so narrow minded until I was lurking on a board, no not Lavish, and saw someone stereotyping all college kids into one group of major party kids. I seriously thought we were past this but I guess not. It’s really sad to see how close minded people are.
