Oh snap, I made it!

My first science sequence class is officially over. Even though I am far from a science person, I did enjoy the class. I think it was the teacher that made me enjoy it more because she taught my mom and brother in high school so it was like a family right of passage to have her ya know? Most of my classmates did not like her because her lectures were a bit disorganized at times as she flipped from section to section, but she simplified everything which made it easier on me. I do not enjoy science at all other than lab because lectures are boring and there are so many complicated definitions and drawings to remember for tests it just puts me to sleep thinking about it, but Mrs. Morgan managed to keep my interest at least most of the time.

Going into the final, I knew I at least had to score a 60 to have a B in the class so that really gave me an extra boost of confidence. The chapter tests were hard as crap but the lab grade and lab final really saved my butt. In fact, I made a 96 on the lab final which really surprised me but I did study for it. The final I tried to study my best but there was just too much to cram into my little brain. Once I got into the classroom to take my final and actually got to taking the test, I was floored by how easy it was. Despite what people say, Mrs. Morgan did want all of us to pass or else that final would have been brutal. I think she gave us all a break after having more F’s on every test than anything. Luckily, I only made one F which I am not proud of and was due to me not caring anymore and not studying for that make up test. I knew I had a better chance of passing Test 3 and my lab final so that is what I focused on which paid off.

So I am very proud to say after checking partial grades on my Banner account I made a B in my Biology class. Oh yes, please bring out the alcohol now.
